Push folks you know to end the demeaning R Word, it makes you seem to lack character & mutual respect for fellow human beings. I’m not talking down to folks cause I used to use it too.
It gets embedded into your lexicon but I encourage you to at least try to change that, you trying is more than enough. I think if ever you’re in a situation where you use it & by chance someone with mental/physical disabilities is nearby and hears it, it’d hurt both them & yourself.
No one is perfect nor is anyone better or worse than the next person but it is common decency towards fellow humans(I sound like an alien) to be considerate. It doesn’t make anyone better by trying to stop the R word, it simply makes them what I think an average human being should be.
